That's the exact same thing I was thinking as I looked at the pictures.

That's sex on wheels! I have a friend who has ordered a new Corvette and is due to be ready next month.
It must be nice to have friends like that.
The next question is does it work?  I had an '84 and it was one of the lowest horse 'vetts ever made but, it still had all I "needed" and I got up to 27 mpg.  It was supposedly the best handling one they ever produced stock.   I can not dispute that.  It was smokin'.  I bought it to replace motorcycles in my life, as you know that did not work.  It was a lot of fun and I am the only person I know that put 40k on a vette a year.
The best thing I did with it was one night I had a clear road for a long way and ran it at 130 for about 30 miles.  Not a out west road here in NY.  That is about a mile every 25 seconds.  Most people talk about running 120/140 for a mile or so.  That was an awe inspriing ride, I could see the fuel gauge dropping.  When you get to that speed and maintain it for any length of time dropping back to 80 feels like you are just coasting.
Took my son to an Alice Cooper conert in it, lots of fun.  Smoked a whole lot of cars that night.

The new vettes are scarey fast, the only thing I can say is thank God for Traction control.  They have come a long way since '84.
