When I retired bit over 12 year ago my micky Ds senior coffee was .50 cents TOTAL. Now that Same senior coffee is .85 cents TOTAL. And granted this is spread out over 12+ years but over all that comes to 70% increase. J T my ridin bud is a butcher here in town. A rack of ribs they cut the ribeye steak out of Got REAL PRICY. How PRICY you ask? And I am NOT makin this up! Ready? 16.6 pounds with a sticker price of $289.45! That is NOT a misprint. And J T and the store in general IS having a hard time getting supplied. Pork sausage chicken and some beef cuts Are in short supply. And All the needed staples Are increasing in price. And as a pure dee azz guess-figurin this just ain't happening here in  Willow Springs Missouri!  Lips Sealed And we all KNOW gasoline is climbing in price And some areas Are in short supply! And I also read with my coffee a couple minutes ago The U S of A went from a net exporter of crude oil to a net importer of crude oil. Feel free to draw yer own conclusions cuz If you Know me you Already KNOW my stance on "things"! I may be wrong BUT feels like to me anywho we circling the drain.  uglystupid2 RIDE SAFE.

Prices of everything is going crazy. Blame it on the Vid. This china virus has screwed up pretty much everything.

Ribs I bought last year for $2.29/# are now over $6/#
A 2x4 last year for $2.41 is now $7.
Plywood last year for $38/sheet is now $63.
Paper goods, canned goods, heck everything is going up, way up !

I blame the communist chinese, the biden admin and plain ole human nature.

When you print lots of money and produce the same amount of stuff (or less), prices will go up. The money supply increased by something like a third last year, the most ever.

While I can't recall the exact pricing Ross-da prez-had mentioned up there in Rhinelander Wi. that CDX plywood had just about tripled from last year price wise!  Lips Sealed I may have mentioned this before but my Neighbor had said that a project a friend of his had quoted last year for materials was a bit north of $1900.00 and NOW that same amount of material is closer to $4000.00!  Undecided  My Friend J T is holding off on a remodel of an extra house of his due to ridiculous material prices. But my land lord who is a contractor Id going forward for a customer with a new from the ground up house build. RIDE SAFE.

best start making your own coffee at home with MD's going to 85 cents each... Roll Eyes

My ex-neighbor is almost done building his 3-season porch ONLY 10x12 ft. is all attached to his house.  I was thinking 12-15K tops for builder to do it.  NOPE -  25K.   He must have money to burn at that price? Huh?

Just this past year our home insurance company we use as well as my mom's house had to increase our value on our home policy about 15K for mom and 25K for my house.  Well, that jacked up our premiums as well by 20-30 bucks per year as well.

My kid stayed with them 2 weeks ago over the weekend bought a used house just moved in.  I told them they best save their pennies but never listen.  She daily goes to kwik trip gas station and spends 2.50 for fancy coffee while there her fiancee ordered DELIVERED dunkin donuts coffee for 4.50.  NUTS and INSANE I told BOTH of them.

Grilling out hamburgers even is an expense.  If lucky, we find 80/20 for 3.99 lb. and rarely 2.99 or 3.50 lb. on sale anymore, but when we do we buy MORE at that price.

We find ourselves eating LOTS more chicken and pork since those 2 are relatively cheap still vs. beef.  Ground lean turkey is cheaper than hamburger as well is pretty good to have in meals somewhat tastes like hamburger ground up say for tacos or other meals mixing in with pasta, etc.

ONLY time we eat out is at Culvers and we ONLY get the kids meals for 6 bucks each or the snakpak meals around the same price is all.

Is ONLY going to get worse so hunker down ya all and live within your means.  tickedoff
