Last fall, I had Bill Ferguson (RIP) do the SuperValk conversion on my Interstate. He did lots of work on my bike and did a great job. He put a Brake/Tail light on my rear fender. I put my trunk back on today, plugged in my brake/tail lights for the trunk, and now they are not working. The  light on the fender is still working. Am I missing something here? Why are they not working?
Thanks for your feedback!

Do you have any idea how Big BF did the wiring job?

I suspect that the stock A wire harness might still be there, but no plugged in.

Maybe try to ground the trunk and see what happens.

Look for the main wire harness output to the A & B rear tail light harness, and see how many wires are plugged in there, and follow them out.

I took photos of the wiring, but I am unable to post them here. Maybe I could send them to you and you could look at it.

email it to me, I'll post it here.

Go to postimage.org  create an account. I have a folder named Forum, where I place all my pictures that I post to forums. Easier to manage them.

First wiggle the wires to see if one is loose, the wire under my seat, pulled apart when I cleaned my battery terminals and put the cover back on. I had a mouse get inside my tour pack and chewed on one of the wires of my wiring harness. Stuff happens.

Problem solved!

Pushed in and wiggled the connection on the left and now the trunk lights work and the light on the fender lights up also when I apply the brakes.

Thanks!
