I know it's an ad for a bank, but given some issues I'm dealing with it really hit home.  Maybe some of you will appreciate it.

I don't want to look back and think, "I should have ridden more " which is the same as admitting I should have enjoyed life more.

Rusty, thanks for posting, I think over the years I have watched that commercial a 100 times and still laugh at the table slap, the dumpling drop, and HUH?

Rusty, Thanks for posting. Since I retired I have had a series of five surgeries, and some debilitating pain. I have worked hard to restore a 1998 Valkyrie. My original goal was to win a bike show, but lately I have made it my goal to get back out on the road and do some more touring. I have one more surgery and then I will take to the road again. That goal motivates me to regain my health. I fully understand that ad.

I'm, still struggling with the decision about riding to InZane, at least for the last couple days.  I've got so much to catch up with and the RystyValkyrie need the cooling system gone through for safety's sake so it looks iffy but it's one of those things I probably should just do without thinking about it too much.

I'm sure if you can get the work done, there are a bunch of folks who would like to see you and the RustyValkyrie. There are some nice riding roads in Ohio too. I was up there for a quarter of a century. Went there on a 3 month job contract that turned into 27 years!

As much as it pains me I've had to farm some of my work out lately.

I've just been too busy to get to it myself.

Luckily, I have a good local mechanic.

I was born and raised in SW PA about 10 miles from the Ohio border.  We used to drive to Negley because at 18 we could get 3.2 beer legally compared to needing to be 21 in PA.

I have family in Meigs county OH, the town of Syracuse right on the Ohio river.

Yes, I'd love to stop in for a couple days.

That's entertaining and familiar.  We would haul down to Toledo (from Grosse Ile MI) for the same reason. The Fa Ba Saloon was a big place with live rock bands and we'd go down with older brothers (over 21 and back from the Nam) who kept going down for the tradition, music and the girls.  The older brothers had new Cudas, Roadrunners and GTOs, and we'd race down I-75.  Beat the hell out of my old beater VW (even though I had to squeeze into those tiny back seats).  We were in awe of those guys.
