Nice job indeed.   cooldude

I've ridden all versions of Valks, and the supervalk interstate is my favorite.

And it's not just the look, it's the ride.

I don't take passengers, and I like having no setup for any.

This was the nitrous, bakers airwings and black shield version before I bought it.

Tarpman, just piece of advice.

No amount of padding (towels, foam) will save your back fender and saddlebag lids from paint rubs and scratches if you decide to bungee a big duffel (or something) back there for a trip.

The long ride with bumps and vibration does the work.  I speak from experience (and rubbed paint).

I have the no longer available correct honda solo rack behind my seat, which is used to elevate my load from the paint.  First, I ziptied a 5/8 dowell across the rack to hold the big duffel from drooping and rubbing the bag lids (which it did).  Then I got a waterproof drybag that holds it's shape, even loaded full.

In a pinch, you could stick the passenger seat back on to hold luggage off the paint.

Jess,

A rare occasion when I disagree with you.  I was raised to always be prepared and I remember this story: http://lifeisaroad.com/stories/2004/10/29/valkyrieMagic.html

I would be so disappointed with myself if I was unable to help in a similar situation.

What a story.   Grin  (I'd have a rain suit for her and could pad the solo rack with a towel.) (but I don't think I'd stop; that looks too much like ambush to me.)

The only naked woman in public I ever came across was in a court house hallway.  The cops had her cuffed in custody and there was nothing for me to do about it.  She was spitting pissed off and a little scary.

There's something you don't see every day.
