Only real thing bothering me is the size of the trike cover. That thing is the size of a 5 man tent and even when folded it takes up a bunch of room. I'd like to find one that is a partial cover for just the front end and the seats, forget about covering that big butt. Any suggestions?

John, there are plenty of motorcycle half covers out there.

I have this one that works with both my interstates (one without a truck).

https://www.amazon.com/Dowco-Guardian-26014-00-Resistant-Motorcycle/dp/B000GROHP6/ref=asc_df_B000GROHP6/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=312158603728&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=3917627713509643334&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9008139&hvtargid=pla-450979152676&psc=1

It is not a storage cover, just a travel cover.  The idea is to have pouring rain diverted from just soaking your electricals (and seats) sitting out in a parking lot all night.  And it keeps stupids from sitting on or screwing with your bike at the motels.  And it helps with overnight dew.  And it drys quickly (hang it on the motel shower rod).

This Dowco is very thin material and light (the Amazon add says 8 ounces), folds up to large softball size, not fully waterproof, but very water resistant, no metal hooks, just two elastic center straps (to pegs).

The only issue is whether it will stretch over your trike (on top).  The rake in front should not matter, and the trunk in back looks pretty OE normal length.

Hmm...I believe I still have one of those half-covers I used on the old bike. I had adapted a trunk to it that came off a GL1100 Wing, it sat directly over the rear axle so might fit the trike sans the big butt.

Just gave me an idea for a name for the trike...Bertha! As in "Bertha Butt." Remember this one?   Grin

OK, did a little digging and found my cover like in the picture, covers it the same way. Tossed the 5 man tent cover back on the shelf and tossed the smaller one in the trunk. Doesn't cover the rear end but not an issue for me.

Even have that packed now except for my morning shaving/teeth brushing kit. Probably have packed more than needed but did leave the kitchen sink behind.  Grin  I'll be in Sunday afternoon if all goes as planned.
