Yesterday I left Taylor, TX at noon and rode the 816 miles home, straight through, and in under 12 hours. My motivation? I pretended I was Iron Butt'n it to InZane

Yeah, that would probably put a hurt on this geezer. My mind would say yes! But my colon and bladder would say huh-uh! Good on you!

816 in 12 hrs is cooking!
I felt worn out at midnight last night, arriving in Pa. 226 miles in 4 hrs IN THE RAIN most of the trip but dry and foggy the last hour after Cumberland. So, I arrived dry but wearing damp socks and boots. I call that a win.
You western state folks can really pile on some high speed miles!

Yep that is moving. I once rode from Tampa fla to Huntsville al in just under 9 hrs around 645 miles. that avg is about 71. I had to be home for work. Was on my street Glide and set the cruise on 90-95 only stopped for gas nothing else. Emptied the bladder and grabbed a bottle of water at each stop. Drank the water while moving. Still don’t know how I did it. Was solo. Couldn’t do it in that gime again nor would I try.

no thanks, could only do that in a vehicle. I drove once straight thru around 22 hours back from Florida to WI (with breaks of course) but that was LONGGGG enough my butt was sore and I was driving 90% of if until got into LONG LONG Illinois state about 8 hours bottom to top. Did I mention driving south to north in Illinois is a downer... Am sure time for your NAP when you got home...

Yes my Belly Tank holding an extra 3 gallons of fuel, and my LED DayMakers helped keep the average up. I was only stopping been 200-250 miles. Would hit the head, grab a water and a candy bar and motor. The LEDs gave me the confidence to keep my speed up at night.

Thank you Serk, and me too. I hate it when InZane is going on and I'm not there.
