Many thanks to the staff for the awesome event and to Kali for helping Meg feel like part of the events, as painful as it may have been!

Was dry as a bone once I left Columbus. Made good time and got a few "thumbs ups"  2funny

The way I figure it... If the weather is good enough for the kayak or bicycle, it's good enough for the Valk.  Cool

how does that trailer tow as far as bouncing around / up-down on the feeling of the back of the cycle?

Neat idea, always wondered what my 6.5x8 ft. flat bed 350lb. trailer would do on the back of my valkyrie pulling my 800lb. ATV but do not want to find out - LOL  MY flat bed ATV trailer bounces around a ton going down the road with nothing on it sure helps putting some WEIGHT on it but that kind of weight extra 800lbs. on the rear suspension of cycle is too much.

Am sure your setup trailer/bicycle/kayak being guessing 300lbs. tops  would be pushing it pulling with the cycle.   Those small pop up/fold out one person trailers made for cycles wonder how much total weight is of one of those?

Wasn't painful at all, Kali LOVED getting to use her ASL language (And her update sign name was just the icing on the cake!)

Thanks to Meg for her patience!

Glad to meet ya'll, sure hope our paths cross again.

It pulls very well - here's some video of it behind the bike under different situations, with reference footage without the trailer. The camera is mounted to the underside of the IS trunk, and it bounces some.

I'll hafta bust out the bathroom scale to weigh it all and will let y'all know once I do. Yeah - I'm pulling it without knowing how much it weighs.

The trailer was simple - started with the HFT small one, replaced the tongue with a longer one because the boats stuck too far out front (10 foot boats on a 4 foot trailer), and to add some stability to it, and added the decking (standard decking boards). All the lights are LED and I'm currently printing some mounts to add marker lights to the ends of the crossbars for added visibility. I'll post an updated picture once I get them printed, installed, and wired in.  Cool

I love cool and different ideas.   smitten    Thinking you need one of those signs like the 18 wheelers have, (This Vehicle Make Wide Right Hand Turns).    cooldude

BTW, enjoyed dinner and conversation with the entire group that sat at our table Banquet Night.   Was a fun time.   cooldude

Or "This vehicle makes AWESOME right turns"  2funny

We enjoyed the company as well! It was quite a feat to have both the oldest and youngest riders at the same table, and them not be related to each other!  cooldude

Glad to see you made it home safely Rams!

I'm curious as to why you built the stands so high.   Apparently cross winds aren't a problem?

Gives me a place to pack the tent, cooler, folding chairs, etc for camping weekends or tackle box/milk crate and whatever else I need to go kayak fishing.

Her CRV can also pull it (max trailer weight 1k lbs) , so it's not just limited to the Valk.
