Howdy everyone - RaginTxn here, and am the new to me happy owner of an amazing 2002 Valkyrie. I am the one that grabbed Redline's immaculate machine, and couldn't be happier. I've been hunting for 9 years now for the bike that felt like it spoke my language and really connected to me. The minute I saw the bike if was "love at first sight"  Cheesy , and after the initial rides it was just settled that this was the fat lady I was looking for.

Looking forward to many miles ahead, meeting up for some rides (when work and family life allows), and living the Valkyrie life both here and on the road.   rider

Welcome from BC cooldude You couldn't have chosen a better Valk...seriously. It also has a long history of being a fixture at our annual BC/NWUS Valhalla gatherings over the past dozen years or so, so come this September it'll likely just want to wander up to Grand Forks BC on its own by force of habit...just make sure you're aboard , as you will be more than welcome to attend as well Wink. Looking forward to meeting you

Congrats on the purchase and enjoy. Hope to see you on the road.

Welcome to a great group/place.  I'm about halfway between Seattle and Portland, in Toledo, right along I 5 if you're down this way.  So, where in TX are you ragin from?  Lived in SA, Austin, DFW, El Paso and a little town called Weatherford.  Always told folks I wasn't from Texas, but I got there as quick as I could.  Love the place and would go back in a heartbeat, if I wouldn't have to go back alone!!!!

He’ll need a shirt, I didn’t include any of those with the bike!

A sample of the group, at our annual Rally.

Welcome to the madness of the Valkyrie too. My daughter is now based out of San Antonio. How about where you can be found at, add your location into your profile.

Redline has kept his bike in great condition, helps having the facility for it.

Hoping the border opens up soon, and we can all meet up together.

Thank you all for the warm welcomes, and many apologies for the late replies. Between summer vacationing, road trips, rides, and then spending every waking minute on a computer for work (and not wanting to see another electronic screen or keyboard for the rest of the night), I've been a bit of a bum on the replies. Most importantly, I've been spending time on the valk (which is what's most important, right??  Grin

To all the points made about this bike - this machine is just immaculate (all credits to Redline), an absolute joy to ride, and just hums along on the roads.

I actually already had planned a southern UT ride with my cousin (rides a '97 Black/Yellow Valk - down in Las Vegas currently) through Zions > Bryce Canyon > Stairways-Escalante > Arches, and don't know if I can get away with three weekends away in Sept with the boss. Will try to at least make it up Friday night for the Saturday ride, but if not this year, most definitely the next

Welcome to our little PNW group. You're plans sound great. Souther Utah is my farvorite place in the world to ride. I make sure that I tour that area every third year. It's especially great on a Valk. Purrrs like a kitten and never heats up no matter what the temp is. ENJOY your trip.
