Pretty cool looking.  $7500 for the 250, $13,500 for the 450.  Lotsa dinero for nostalgia.

I wish them much success, but I’m probably not in their target demographic.

The Halcyon ones look really cool to me. No suspension though.
What buttery smooth roads are they going to ride down with a
spring on their seat? I mean... my daddy went all over on a bike
like that in the 30s and I'm sure the roads were awful then... but
running some of these mountain roads today going much faster
than a moped on that thing and it seems like you'd get spit off
at the first good bump... ?

They are in our area and have been featured in multiple articles and if I recall correctly were invited to the white house during the Trump administration for a made in america feature. All hand crafted, every one custom built. I think they are very cool to look at, just not my style of motorcycle.

As for the price, I am sure you could get one made in China for half the price and a third of the quality. Kinda shows as an example why things move off shore. We want things made in the USA but we don't want to pay the cost that entails. Sad, and a hard hurdle to jump thru as a new business trying to compete in the free market. I love that they are doing this and I hope they can make it.

From the link...

"Properly Powered
Perfect pairing of size and power
Small, lightweight motorcycles have distinct advantages over the overpowered, unwieldy, and large motorcycles that are so popular today. The Halcyon weighs 265 pounds, and our single-cylinder 229cc motor provides the get-up-and-go the classically-styled Halcyon needs. The result is a perfect pairing of size and power that gives riders the unequivocal experience of taking flight."

Don't get me wrong, I'd give it a run for it's money given the chance, however, I'd bet that statement is assuming the the rider weighs in at less than the bike. haha  Cheesy
