It is with a very heavy heart that I tell you I lost my grand daughter last night. Just 2 days shy of 7 month's old, the Lord took her home. As some of you know, I am proud of her Daddy, my oldest son Joshua. He is the Pastor of the Methodist church in Salamanca, NY.  He and my daughter in law Jenifer were the best parents any child could ever dream of. They both poured out every ounce of themselves into Anna's every need. Again, as most of you know, she was born with some very serious birth defects. She was one of 3 in 100 that are even born alive with her diagnosis.
I loved that little girl more than I can put into words. My wife Donna and I were on our way to our sons house to spend the night with them as she was just released from the Hospital after her surgery the day before. We were going to take care of her overnight so the kids could get a nights sleep. We got the phone call from our hysterical daughter-in-law to get to the Hospital. I drove like a man possesed in the snow, but it was too late.
Please do me one favor, one that I hope I would never be asked to repay. Please pray for my family right now. Seriously, I truly believe that is the most important thing any could do to help us. I thank each and every one of you for your response.
God bless us all,

Dear Bill,
Please know that my wife and I will be praying that God grants Joshua and Jenifer healing for their hurt and strength to endure these times and that He keeps them encouraged to continue with His work. . . . We will also be praying for you and Donna.

Bill and Family....as you know we are praying for you and will continue, we up here in western new york know Bill. He is a stand up guy, with courage and commitment. He rides with our chapter of the American Legion Riders and is always proud to ride with the New York Patriot Guard Region 1. I personally have been on missions and rode with Bill. For those who don't know Bill, let me tell you, you would be proud to call him a friend and brother. He will stand by you and never faulter, like I said he is a stand up guy. My heart is broken that he lost his Granddaughter, we ALR all prayed for her and him.....but as we all know the Lord has his own plans for all of us. So I want to say again, Bill we are praying for you and your family for your loss. God Bless......

Bill,

Our heart and prayers go out to you and your family.  I believe nothing would hurt me more than losing a child.  Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help you get through this.

I have experienced the loss of a child.  It hurts, I think, forever.  Only knowing that we will someday be reunited in heaven keeps me going.  I will pray for you all.  God will get you through it.

Having lost a child myself its places a very heavy burden on the heart and also test your faith in God almighty. But your Granddaughters time here on earth was Im sure filled with all the love and affection she wanted. She is in a better place now and her memories will remain with ya'll for ever. Keep the faith, pray and remember the time the Lord gave ya'll with her. Brighter days are ahead and your family will be in my prayers.
