Well i have the rear wheel off and I ended up having to order a tool to remove the bearings so I'm waiting on that to get here. I've begun painting certain pieces white. I bought the aftermarket saddlebags from a site someone posted on this forum. Very happy with the saddlebags but find im scraping the paint on the top left side. Does anyone know if any chrome luggage racks that would fit on them? I ordered the jumbo saddlebags. Any help greatly appreciated. Thank you to everyone on the site, I would not even have dreamed of trying all this on my own without the guidance of this site. You guys all rock!

I'm assuming you are talking about the Tsukayu Jumbo Strong saddlebags?

https://www.tsukayu.com/JumboStrong.html

Tsykayu sells some bag racks for it's Strong/Jumbo Strong bags.

Hardbag racks are largely useless, except as handles, and scuff guards for passenger kid's shoes.  I think I've only ever seen one guy actually tie anything to a saddlebag rack.

They sell clear tape which might be used to avoid rubs to the paint.

Or the lids could be taken down to a Rhino Liner dealer and sprayed. (but not white)

Those are the exact bags. Yes, I plan on installing them to help prevent scuffs to my paint. Thank you so much for the info.

Jess from VA-

Can you point me in right direction to get some of the tape you speak of? I went to the above site and did not see anything.

Thanks!

I have no first hand experience with this.

I would think that tape that comes back off easily would be what you want.  Like blue painters tape (but not blue).

I saw a guy talking about clear vinyl decal tape.

And this:  https://www.3m.com/3M/en_US/p/d/b40066706/

And perhaps some of that vinyl wrap stuff might work.
