The best Hwy pegs for Std/Tourer are the Kuryakyn 4050s with a one inch clamp (bolted to a lower support of the engine guard). When folded up, they are in board, and will not be broken or snapped off in a fall and slide or drop, unlike pegs mounted right on the outer sweep of the guards. And once mounted up, you can adjust the angle of the foot pegs to suit you. I'm 5'9" too.
The clamp that comes with this unit is superior to regular Kury quick clamps, and once bolted up can be jumped up and down on (but don't do that).
Kuryakyn always sells at full MSRP (to not compete with their million vendors). I always use Amazon as my base price, then hunt around to see if I can beat it (I usually can't, but sometimes I have). Don't forget shipping in the equation.

Most guys end up mounting these so the pegs are nearly right on the inside of the engine guard. You can save money with a Kuryakyn quick clamp (1 1/8"), a clevis, and a peg (say Duallys, the same pegs used on the 4050 kits) mounted right to the outer sweep of both engine guards (3 and 9 o'clock), but that setup has me burning my calves on the rear corner of the valve covers (if I'm not careful).
1.25" Harley clamps will not work anywhere on the Valk engine guards.
BTW, welcome Doug.
