Hildr the Valkyrie has never worn anything but Dunlop tires. That's over 24 years on a single brand of tire since her manufacture date of May 1997!
Yesterday, Monday July 12th, I put an Avon Cobra Chrome on her front wheel. (A Dunlop Elite IV has been on her rear wheel since last November.) Both tires are radials and I've heard nothing but good things about Avon tires from other Valkyrie riders. Plus, Dunlop has not been able to deliver a 150/80R-17 Elite IV radial for months due to the apocalypse.
I'm not a technical rider, so I'm suspecting I'll be happy with the match up.
