For the last several years our winter has consisted mainly of a few cold
snaps and enough snow flurries to turn the ground white for a little
while. This year, we've already had one good (SLICK) snow and a couple
of 2-3 inchers. It was *3 this morning and the wind chills were below 0.
Today..or tomorrow.....we'll break the all-time record for consecutive days
below freezing, which is quite a surprise to me. Seems like when I was young
it was cold for weeks at a time. Maybe my rememberer is getting older?
