Was looking for new BBQ options that would make a good ride and found the North Village Smokehouse in Millers Falls, MA. It's on Route 63 about a mile south of Route 2.

Went there for lunch today. Plenty of parking in a paved lot. They have ample seating both inside and out. I opted for inside because of the air conditioning. The decor was cool and looked just like what you'd expect for a BBQ joint. And I mean that in a good way. It look like a honky-tonk joint right out of the movies, complete with county and western and country rock songs playing in the back ground.

Their website has the menu.

I had the brisket sandwich with pit beans on the side.

The sandwich was huge! Slaw was part of the sandwich, with pickles and some banana peppers included on the side. The brisket was moist and delicious. It came lightly sauced. The pit beans were very spicy and good, too.

I recommend this place if you find yourself in that neighborhood.

 Cool
