My wife is looking for a veterans related service organization to support (donations).

She has looked at Tunnels to Towers and a few others and has sort of settled in on Semper Fi and America's Fund.

It looks like a good organization's.  Just wondered if anyone has any experience with the fund or would suggest another similar "group" to support.

Thanks.

Folds of Honor

Offers scholarships to spouse and dependents of fallen or disabled soldiers. Many states have a chapter.

Yep that's why I asked for personal references.  Will look at folds of honor or rather tell my spousal unit (as Serk says) about the recommendation.

I would look into Mike Rowe's and Gary (LT Dan) Sienese's charities.  They seem to do good work from what I know of them.

I have passed those two along to the wife.  Thanks for the recommendations.

I would look into your SC State Veteran Homes.
You got 3 of them in your State.

See what support options they have.

Rolling Thunder South Carolina Chapter 1

Rolling Thunder is an organization of about 4,000 members nationwide.  There are no paid employees, so overhead is very low.  Except for minor operating expenses, almost all donations go directly to Veterans.

I am the President of Rolling Thunder, South Carolina Chapter 1.  We would certainly appreciate your consideration.
