In Massachusetts, the Fight Is On Over Natural-Gas Bans for Homes

The state is a hot spot in the battle over phasing out gas for home cooking and heating in favor of electricity

Is this all over your news? Seems like y'all'd be hosed if you had to use heat pumps.
Cold and broke too. Is there some way to heat a house with electricity other
than a heat pump or a plain old heat strip? I guess could replace all your floors
with tile over "thick"set that has wires in it (my bathroom has that  smitten ) ...
or oil filled radiators?

-Mike "I heard it gets cold up there..."

Won't be my house. Oil burner, outdoor wood boiler for winter, propane for range. I believe the building code calls for new construction to prep for it as well as charging port for your smart car, which I will also no have.
Can't say it's been on the news that I have seen but I can't stomach much of it to begin with. I will check into it.

Not required at present. Proposed, with a lot of push back.
