I have a Masters in theology, and did my undergraduate work at a bible school. I  cannot tell you what the mark of the beast is persay, but I can sure see how it is possible.

The one thing I know in my heart of hearts is that God is real, and in  control. I might not understand everything, but I know my redeamer lives and  I will be in his presence again someday.

I one had a very profound experience in the presence of Jesus. It is wonderful.

The evil of this world will not prevail. There will come a time when EVERY knee will bow, and every tounge will say that Jesus  Christ is Lord. Come Lord Jesus quickly.

I started reading the New King James Bible about a yr and a half ago.   Reading it slowly trying to get as much as possible out of it.   I am down to the beginning of the book of Revelations.    Plan to start it as soon as possible.   You can argue about the Bible forever but it all boils down to “Either you believe the Bible is a real document or you dont believe the Bible is the real thing.”    I believe the Bible is the real thing.   I believe God is real and I believe that God sent Jesus to die for our sins that we might have everlasting life.    Ok….Im through preaching too.    ( really looking forward to the “Revelations”)

all I know of were some words that didn't have a common definition equal to words in english.

But God is in Control so what we have today is what He wanted us to have. I prefer the Amplified Bible which puts it into our modern day thoughts and language.

I've just always wondered why the other [appr] 10 greek gospels were left out of KJV. There were at least two versions of greek which translators had trouble with. Most translators could figure out some greek and change it to latin and then to english. Mistakes can be made during translations.

they are called the gnostic gospels. they are not considered canonical, and not the Inspired Word of God by the Holy Spirit.
there is not a defined author of any of them. they read like made up stories, just like the books of the apocrypha which are considered the same. only the roman catholic church and the council of trent of 1719 said they should be part of the bible. Remember the RC church didn't come into existence until 300 yrs after the death of John the Apostle.  I've read part of them and they read like fairy tales and make zero sense. There is a bible verse where Jesus even mentioned them and stated they are nothing.

The bible is the complete Word of God.
there is a warning to not add or take way from the bible.

Honestly, I doubt that's going to happen and if it does,      I'll stand up beside who ever to protest such a requirement.   While I do hope the majority of folks see the light and get vaccinated.   I still support their right to not do so.   I also dis-like wearing those masks.

Pick up a copy of "Evidence That Demands a Verdict". It will be a real good start to answering your questions. It was written by an atheist that set out to prove the bible was wrong. By the time he was done with his research, he became a Christian. At any rate it explores many questions.

Or if you are really bold, you can simply and honestly ask God to reveal Himself to you, and give you the answers you seek.

I was brought up as a good catholic boy. After that church threw me out 50 years ago I started studying. I still read quite a bit. But, I haven't read that.
