New (old) rider

Hello guys,

I thought I would write about a contact I had today with another Valkyrie rider.

It seems Chris's Valkyrie being in such a place that is highly visible on a main street, is drawing others attentions too.

Chris had a note placed upon his bike again, wishing to get into contact, and try to meet up with other Valkyrie riders. Chris referred him over to me, and I insured him I have no problem with others giving out my personal cell # to those who wish it for the promotion of the VRCC.

This gentleman called me today. I'll keep it short and a little hidden, as I had not asked permission to post.

Seems this person is no longer active on the board, and had been in the past. I mentioned it would be best to keep an eye on the local BC chapter to try to see what our going on there are.

I have his email and phone number, but the difficulty will be in communication. I suspect that he is a deaf/mute, and we spoke over the phone with help of an assistant. The written word would most likely be easiest for us all to use for communication.

I've no other information, age or the like.

Just in case, I did not post a few weeks back, that I ran into another Valkyrie parked, a red/white Tourer with a logo on the saddle bag. Chris mentioned that he had a red/white Valkyrie, I wonder who's it was?

I hope upon further discussions, I'll be able to post more and proper information, along with being able to do a proper Welcome to the group.

Paul/Mike, I know you both have/do use shops, and he is looking for referrals to a good shop that would know the Valkyrie.
