If you go back and read, he called me into the conversation with his insulting and completely off the wall remark .  He apologized to the moderators, but it just shows where he comes from.  I don't know him nor care to.

I assure you Scanner, I HAVE READ many of your posts, and I have read many of Tim's posts.   I stand by my earlier comments.  'Nuff said.   

I am in complete agreement with you.  Tim is about as upstanding as they get and shouldn't have apologized for his comments.  Scanners were demeaning to Alabamans.

I probably should NOT have made my original post...as just as i suspected...it just resulted in more 'bickering'. For that, i DO appologize...not only to the members of the board...but to Scanner as well.

I didn't mean for this to become some kind of pissin' contest....   i felt compelled to comment...did so...and probably...in hindsight...should have just bit my tongue.

That said, I'd really like to meet some of the various folks on this board that make "lively" comments about others....and see....if they would do so face to face.

One of my favorite beliefs is....DON'T SAY ANYTHING ON A BOARD...YOU WOULDN'T SAY FACE TO FACE. I believe and live by that. I have never said anything here or on any other board i won't say TO YOUR FACE............and......i DO attend and support MANY of the functions of this group and others....so i'm a VERY EASY GUY TO FIND.................

I'll also admit that while there are some folks here on this board i disagree with.... MOST (but not all), i'd be more than willing after meeting them in person to shake their hand and buy em' a cold one...despite our differences.

Maybe we should now talk about motocycles or something? I'm going riding in about 30 minutes....finally...as the weather is finally taking a turn for the better...and i just can't pass up this mid 60s weaather today!
