I’ve been having fun with the .357 Marlin. Now to properly clean the rifle you need to remove the hand lever screw pull the lever out and remove the bolt. It’s easy enough but these screws are fairly soft so repeated removal and installation will eventually buggar up the screw.

Now, I did buy a good gunsmiths screwdriver set

Still eventually. Ugly screw. So, I found a company that makes highly precision parts and this screw allows me to remove the lever without using a screwdriver. Beautiful

Here's the comments from a lib-boy reporter on shooting an AR at an indoor range.

Reporter "rattled" after firing AR-15 at Vermont's first indoor gun range: "It felt like a meteor had struck the earth in front of me. A deep shock wave coursed through my body, the recoil rippling through my arms and right shoulder with astounding power." https://t.co/7q7h9lqcmO pic.twitter.com/1jP6nepsSA

Now here's a 14yo girl (and her comments on the lib-boy).    Grin

What a weenie. AR has very little recoil. Just think if he tried my S&W 500.  uglystupid2

I will admit that indoor shooting can be quite loud, compared to outdoors.  But that's noise, not recoil.

All my shooting at March AFB CA was at an ancient outdoor concrete bunker type setup which had been designed to bore sight the 50s on Sherman tanks in WWII.  Big enough to just drive the tanks right in.

It provided really nice shade out in the hot desert sun, but man was it LOUD surrounded by concrete ceiling, walls and floor.   Muffs and plugs were a good idea.

The one time I shot at the fancy new HQ NRA indoor range in Fairfax VA, the guy next to me was shooting a .458 Win Mag.  No one appreciated it.   (who shoots an elephant gun at the indoor range?)

"I'll believe Hillary is finally telling the truth before I believe this guy."   Grin  Good video.

Non-shooters often fail to hold the stock into their shoulders resulting in a rather amplified effect.   Shocked

Yeah, creates the "bump stock" effect.  Wink

Got mine from Ranger Point. Very well designed. A o-ring smartly fitted prevents any metal to metal contact on the receiver

https://rangerpointstore.com/amp/categories/marlin-firearms-parts.html

Clic on that link and go to page three. You will see quick take down screws for Henry and Marlin. There’s black nitrate and down further there’s stainless
