Over on the PAM side of things, I was recently ridiculed for not maintaining my Valkyrie in good running condition. And it is true that I neglected the Valkyrie for over five years. While anything is possible, I’ve decided to part the old girl out. I may keep some things to have just in case another Valkyrie comes along that I just have to have.

So this is what I sacrificed the Valkyrie for,

We are best buddies and have been as close as any grandsons and grandparents could be. I wouldn’t change a thing. They are on the beach in North Carolina this week with mom and dad while Nana and Papa have been busy at home bonding with this one.

Due to COVID and mom getting to work from home, Nana and Papa weren’t called into regular duty until now.

I have to share her Popeye the Sailor impersonation sans pipe.

So I call it a fair trade and as time passes some other Valkyries may live a little longer.

Great trade.  Family first.  We have spent a lot more time with our younger grandkids during Covid.  It has been a blessing.  Like when you raise your kids that time can't be had again.  It goes so fast.  Want to cherish it.  Motorcycles will always be there.  We're looking forward to some Great Grandkids in the next few years.  Can't wait.  Love them when that are small.  Hearts and brains wide open.

Olivia has been a joy to have with us this week. It took her a few days to warm up to me, but after a couple of days she was crawling all over me like a jungle Jim.

Fair trade indeed!

Well, I did take care of it for 15 years before the boys came along! But yep, I’d do it again, or knowing what I know now, I would have let it go to someone else.  Wink
