You know you will need new fender rails and the wings that hold the sissy bar

Are you wanting a sissy bar for a back rest?

Have you looked at one of these?  They are in New Zealand.

What i can not see, is how the sissy bar wings mount

Any information on this would be helpful

I am thinking an after market VTX 1800 bar looks very similar to the trunk rails

What I was trying to warn you about. Your Interstate fender rails cannot accept those wings for the sissy bar. You will need rails from a standard or tourer.

Read the post above yours. Your question was answered before you asked it.

I believe _sheffjs_ had talked about a model sissy bar that would bolt up to the interstate’s fender rails. No other mod needed. I can’t remember the model of bike it was made for. I’ll try to find out or you can pm him.
