Did you know that 1980 and 2021 are as far apart as 1980 and 1939?

Did you know that 1980 and 2021 are as far apart as 1980 and 1939? And 1939 and 2021 don’t seem to be very far apart in several aspects.

I sure hope Joe isn't ushering in III, but it's possible. He's got us in a sticky as molasses predicament, and I fear he doesn't have the brains to get us out!

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he didn't invite the head of the Taliban to the White House for negotiations, then declare "PEACE IN OUR TIME!" after conceding half of California to the Taliban in exchange for an extra 2 weeks to get all USA personnel out of Afghanistan...

If he would trade them all of California for Afghanistan his approval rating would soar exponentially.

or scarier 1776 and 2019
ask yourself, if you were living in 1776, what would you think of being forced to have an experimental vaccine, take tests that bear false witness (there is no such thing as a delta variant test and really no such thing as a covid19 test, There may be an accurate antibody test which if one has a positive leave them the hell alone.) Or having to quarter squatters in your home (think 3rd amendment), having your property taken without compensation without due process and without equal protection, and being demonized and unable to communicate because of censorship, your gun may be confiscated and your son or father jailed or worse for possessing the gun

The leaders of a rugged militant organization deemed terrorists by the United States would be hosted in the mountain getaway used for presidents, prime ministers and kings just three days before the anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks that led to the Afghan war."

I think negotiations from a position of strength, holding the country in your (US) control with a group who would no doubt have intentions of moving in when we leave, is much different than negotiations with a power who now controls everything in Afghanistan except for the Kabul airport. Maybe you would agree Bob, maybe not?

I could only read a couple of paragraphs before I got shut out.. IT DIDN'T HAPPEN. IT WAS AN IDEA THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN. What kind of warped fantasy land do you live in?
