Oh they grow so fast ... wasn't that long ago I was taking my kids to the carnivals and riding the slide!  Unfortunately I missed out on the fun with the grandbabies today ... we were on our "Fun Run" and then I guess they went back later this evening ...

this is Clair .. she's 20 months now

She's at the age where she is just beginning to enjoy things ... but she's my little scardie cat too ...  Embarrassed

Now Theresa .. she's my little biker Momma .. she loves the motorcycles and tells me constantly "Nana buy me motorcycle helmet so I can ride" ... Soon as she gets a little bigger so I know she can ride without worrying about her falling off ... we'll get her a helmet so she can begin to ride the Valks with me and her "Grumpa" <<< ---Kendall's self proclaimed title  (now it's Valk related)  coolsmiley

Momma taking them down the slide

Well it happened.   MGM got dropped for the 2nd time in it's life, and my grand daughter got hurt in the process.......  God I hate to see my Grandkids get hurt.  MGM can be fixed if needed.  It is still laying on it's side out there.   Will get it up later today or tomorrow, after I get some help.  Like my son......

She has always came over, crawled up on it and set there making like she was riding.   She is almost 6 now.  Well, that was with the center stand on it, and up on the center stand.

Took the center stand off a year or so ago.   MGM was on the kickstand on a block of wood.  I thought the stand was in the center of the board, apparently her moving the handlebars back and forth it worked the stand off the block, when it dropped off the block the stand went up and MGM went down.   Tossed her off, but she hit her head/shoulder pretty hard on the table leg, hard enough it put a welt on it.  Bike never touched her thank God.  She never cried much, but she was scared to death..  Will probably play 7734 getting her back on the bike again now.

Took her to Emergency Care joint, they xrayed her and checked her out.  Said to just take it easy for a few days, nothing broken..........

So, I guess her and the other grandkids will no longer want to play on the bike.............  Sheet.............

This was when she was about 2.  This was a remote radio controled bike,  but not while she was around it wasn't.

Sorry to hear about the accident, but glad she will be ok. I look forward to my grandson being old enough to ride with me. He will be 2 this month. He has ridden around the yard with me a few times and loves to ride "Grampy's cycle".

Really sorry to hear about the accident.  Not for the damage to the bike.  It's like you said, that's just money.  But more for the hurt and scare that your grandchild and you received.  My 8 yr. old grandson is now able to go on short runs with me and I love having him with me and I would hate to see him get hurt too.  That's just more incentive for me to be a more defensive rider and use situational awareness when I'm out there being invisible in traffic.

glad to hear she's ok .... nothing more heart wrenching then for one of them precious babies to get hurt ... no matter what the cause!   tickedoff

If she truly loves the bike as much as you believe she does .. she'll get past the fear .. and you can count this as her first crash  Wink

get a more recent picture of her grandpa ... love seeing the babies  angel
