Agree... This place will pull on your heart both times I've been there I was sad and mad all at the same time.

One of the worst experiences of my visits there, was listening to the telephone messages the passengers were leaving for their loved ones prior to the crash.  They WILL bring you to tears.  The calmness and love in their voices as they left voicemails for loved ones, knowing what was in store for them was just too much for me.  I will never forget, unfortunately far too many already have.

I think one of these should be the VRCC calendar photo for September.  Who's with me?

I like the idea Skinhead.  But SmokinJoe will need to submit a higher resolution pic.  The yellow bike pic has better alignment.

Joe, do you possibly still have a higher res photo on your phone?  I know you had a phone blow out recently, so I don't have high hopes.

“Would you do one last thing for me?”

“Yes. What is it?” she answered.

“Would you pray with me?”

They said the Lord’s Prayer together in full, and other passengers joined in. Beamer then recited Psalm 23, concluding, “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil, for thou art with me.” Immediately after, he turned to his co-conspirators and asked, “Are you guys ready? OK, let’s roll.”

Does anyone else have a Hi Res photo of their bike @ the memorial, or any other 911 sight?  I'm not on the calendar committee, but I suggest we try to make every September page a photo of a Valk and one of the 911 sites.

Sounds like a good excuse for a road trip for someone.  Smiley

It doesn't need to start this cycle, but would be nice, I'm saying make it an unofficial policy.
