They were getting whipped most of the day. But, they can never be counted out.

Packers stunk it up though had to turn it off soon after 3rd quarter was embarrassing both offense and defense, very pathetic opener.

Arod is either rusty not doing much in preseason at all or he wants to loose and retire after 4 more games or so and stick it to the front office in hopes they get fired as well.

It's hard being a Lions fan.  In fact, it's almost impossible.   Grin

Yay for return of football. The only non motorcycle sport I enjoy. Usually wait for cooler weather to hit before doing serious TV time. Anybody time shift (DVR) the games to blast through commercials and all the other stoppages? The commercials, injures, time outs, reviews, etc drive me a little nuts.

yah, recording a full football game 3 hours can watch it in about 40 minutes on DVR by fast forward every play 30 seconds at a time goes right to the next play most of the time.  Joe Buck and Troy Aikman as commentators are sort of boring but prefer to listen to Tony Romo every now and again.  I wonder how Saints Drew Brees will do?  I do not think he will be as emotional or upbeat as Tony Romo does though.
