Mike and I met at the Chevron in Hope late morning on Friday to ride towards Grand Forks.

We took #3 all the way and stopped in Greenwood for a little coffee break.

Before leaving Greenwood we put some rain gear on and arrived in Grand Forks shortly after.
The first stop was at Johnny's motel, where we met Jim, Steve & Margarete.
I went to the campground and set up camp.
The evening was then spent at Johnny's motel, talking about and looking at bikes.

It rained all night, but Saturday started out nicely...

Grand Forks has some nice murals, of course I had to take some pics...

Then I was meeting the local riders for breakfast... good lineup!

Then we headed over to Johnny's to meet the others and get ready for a beautiful day of riding.

This was our route for the day:

First short stop on the way towards Salmo...

Fuel stop in Salmo...

One lane traffic over the bridge in Nelson...

Lunch stop at the Kaslo Hotel...

After a long day of riding we had more time to talk about and look at bikes at Lyle's and Sandy's place. Thanks for the drinks and hospitality  cooldude

On Sunday morning I joined the Grand Forks crew for breakfast in Greenwood...

The rain gear came on in Rock Creek and stayed on all the way to Chilliwack.
Here's a view from Osoyoos lookout...

Glad I made it out there for the weekend to see some familiar faces again and to meet new ones as well.

Good report Christian.   cooldude   I was wondering how it turned out. A good turnout for such short notice. Hopefully the borders will be open next year.

On another note the road from Princeton to Aspen Grove has new pavement. Was thru there on Thursday and it was awesome.
