I’m wanting to do away with the chrome rack and add the gold wing spoiler. I’ve seen it done, but need to know what year wing to get. I believe it’s the 2001 and newer ones that fit best. Any suggestion would be great. Thanks

Jim, you must have the large Wing rack that many have used, it's rather worthless since you can't load it with anything comparable to its size anyway. Mine is rather small and used for only one thing; lashing down my rain gear.  cooldude

My I/S trunk (now on my Tourer) has worn the same (Show Chrome) rack since I bought the first Interstate in 2001. The lid was actually swapped from that bike when I sold it onto the second Interstate's trunk.

I use the rack to hold the bike's rain cover when I'm traveling. Would do same with my SuperValked I/S should I put a trunk back on it. (I have all the pieces for one in a box, just waiting on the opportunity to build the thing.)

Here is a post from BonS who had the Spoiler in question that you might want.

http://www.valkyrieforum.com/bbs/index.php/topic,90809.0.html

I'm still looking for what it is, but I thought it was from a GW GL1500, not a GL1800.

(nothing in the thread on the spoiler)

That looks like an old Cyclemax unit.

that’s the spoiler I think I want. The extra lights are awesome. May have to do that too.

I've got the trunk spoiler. I'll look in my paperwork to see if I have a part number. I think it was an 1800 part.

Mine was for a 1500 and left the  trunk rack in place. Fits under it
