Stephen Bonner was 103 years old when he passed on to his Reward. He had served under Lt. General Claire Chenault in China. Bonner had 5 Confirmed Kills 5 Probable Kills and 2 damaged Japanese aircraft. All that while Flying the supposedly Inferior Curtiss P-40. Very quickly it seems we Are running out of The Greatest Generation.  Cry May you Forever Rest In Peace SIR!  cooldude

The Flying Tigers did a hell of a fine job for what they had to work with. The Tactics that Chennault came up to fight the Japanese with were equally applicable to the American fighters of the time.
