Good video. Should be mandatory viewing for all elected officials.
I taught my kids how to use guns. How to shoot straight. My son is a great shot however, neither my son or my daughter care to be gun owners. But at least if it came to it they would know which end the bullets come out of.
The second amendment should not be twisted to be a tool that the government uses to tell us what guns and ammunition we can own. The people need the same quality of guns the government may choose to show up with at our door.

People forget that there was no US army when the Declaration of Independence was signed. We all constitute the militia. I wish it went further as in Switzerland where the government sets aside special days for the people to stay proficient with their arms
Yes Carl the "Continental Army" was founded in June 1775 but it according to google etc it never reached more than about 80000 during the war, The militias could be everyone in a colony or state I stand corrected, The right of self defense, which is an inalienable right, of course preceded that in all respects

Careful, Counselor. There was an army when the Declaration of Independence was signed but the 2nd Amendment was not part of that Declaration.

Very good video. However self protection and of your castle, and a well regulated (by whom) militia, for the protection of the State are two different issues.

What constitutes a tyrannical government?
Are we seeing tyranny already?
To me the 2nd is SECOND for a reason not just that it was the 2nd idea on the list.
First and foremost in order of importance was everything covered in the first amendment…that was crucial to tje founding fathers.
The Second is there for a reason, to protect not just the individual, but the First Amendment AND ALL subsequent amendments. We the people are the protectors of the nation, not those in office. We the people are responsible for defending our rights and freedoms.
IMO we are witnessing the consequences of decades of subversive actions by those in government. Long term senators and members of congress who have not only sold their souls but parts of this nation all in the sake of their own status and imaginary self importance.
What happened at the Capitol back in January was not an insurrection but a right of the people to voice their dissatisfaction with the current government. People are recognizing tyranny and want no part of it.
Tyranny = a cruel and oppressive government.
We have t gotten to the “cruel” stage yet but federal and states are oppressive and they’re squeezing a little more each and every year.

Jersey Mike I Agree with 99.5% of what you posted. We Are in FACT in the formative stages of "cruel" that being the c19 chit and ALL follow on variants. And as what passes for "news media" IS gleefull to report there are many follow on variants emerging. As a guess our WIDE OPEN Southern Border might could have a little somethin somethin to do with that! RIDE SAFE.
