Billings, Montana

June 13-17, 2022; June 12, Early Bird Cook-out!

Maybe the border will be open then.

Great news, close to home again.

There is talk of meeting up and driving there as a group. Whether or not we do our Valhalla Rally before or after InZane, it will work out good either way. Post Falls ID worked out back in 2017 with David M leading knowing the way.

I'd probably be interested in joining that group.....

Spurliner...there will be a group of us from BC & WA heading down to Billings next June. Keep an eye on this BC page for updates in the new year.
Also, make a note for Sept 8/22 in Grand Forks BC...that's been more or less confirmed for our annual Valhalla rally. Again, check for updates here in the coming weeks, months...love to have you join us.

Cheers, Mike

Well it's almost time, and no ones talking yet. I've only heard from some who are not going.

Is there anyone who is planning of going to Billings from BC?

I haven't committed to anything yet. But also no reservation yet either.

There hasn't been much talk, and we don't know what's happening.

I've still the time off, but would be going alone, Tess is not wanting a long multi day trip. I can't see my self spending $1K on a trip by myself.

I've spoken to Dave M from Spokane, and there isn't anyone going for the whole Rally from there, maybe a day or 2 trip only.

Is there anyone from BC going to InZane XXII? Most have already spoken up that they are most likely not going, but I haven't heard from any who say they are.

This week, I rode from my home in Buckeye, AZ to spend the summer in Osoyoos. I'm interested in going to Billings, but also haven't made reservations. If someone does decide to go, I'd be happy to join.

There are 2 of us heading down to Inzane from Grand Forks as of today.  There maybe one more, will know in a few days.  Leaving on the 10th and staying for the whole deal, any excuse to ride and see something new!!!

Now the big question is...are you riding the fancy new Wings, or the taking the Valks? Wink

I've made my reservations at Inzane. I'd like to join you in or around Grand Forks. Do you plan on overnighting in Missoula or thereabouts?

Have been down in the states for a few days riding in the rain!!!  Just got back today hence the late reply.
Yes we are overnighting in Missoula and leaving Grand Forks on the 10th.  Looks like 3 riders plus yourself if you come along, plus we will be meeting another rider from east of us in Missoula.  Haven't booked any room in Missoula as of yet.  Now that we are back from our little jaunt, will have to get that organized.

Appreciate the response. I've made a reservation at the Super 8 on Reserve St. Missoula on the 11th as it was considerably less expensive than other hotels in the area. If you're leaving on the 10th, are you planning on taking 3 days?

No that was my bad.  We are leaving on the 11 and are overnighting in Superior just west of Missoula.  There will be 4 of us there and then on to Inzane,  getting in the afternoon of the 12 th.  Rooms in Missoula are at a premium especially the price!!!!

Looking forward to meeting up with you all in Missoula, MT on Saturday. Please keep us posted as to where you're staying. We are booked at the very posh "Econo Lodge" in Missoula. 4953 N Reserve St, Missoula, MT, 59808. Keep us in mind and let us know when you'll be there!

Unfortunately Greg, when we got to checking out overnight lodging availability in Missoula, the prices were insane...and that's even before tacking on the 30% exchange rate we have to apply to our CDN buck. Either we were just too late to the game in booking, or we're just not as well-heeled as you Southern Idahoans to be able to afford (or are willing to pay) those rates for all the sumptuous luxuries the "very posh Econo Lodge", or any other hotel/motel in Missoula we could find apparently, obviously offers for those kind of rates. So, while you're enjoying your complimentary massages, pedicures, mimosas, and other amenities at the Econo Lodge, we'll be holing up for that night at the not quite so "posh" but more reasonably priced Big Sky Motel in the beautiful town of Superior. You're welcome to ride up to say hi  Smiley

Mike, Superior is only 52 minutes from Missoula. We'd gladly wait for you in order to ride with you the rest of the way into Billings. Is there any way we could "meet in the middle" so to speak and maybe you all get up a little early and meet us in Missoula for a late breakfast? I don't see that there's any hurry for us to leave Missoula. Lets have breakfast together there. If that seem agreeable, I'll find us a place to meet for breakfast. I'd love to ride the rest of the way with you and your friends. That's what it's all about. Let me know. Also, are you wanting me to bring the final drive for you?

Nope...I just arrived home about 5 PM today. Lots of wind for a couple of days down there limited riding on those days a bit and Yellowstone was closed, but got a couple good days riding in and lots of visiting, bs'ing, etc and all the events went off as planned.
