Just across the Tennessee line I stopped at the welcome center.  On my way back out of the center I saw that a young boy and his mother were looking over the bike in detail.  I approached and greeted them, "She's a pretty one, isn't she?"

We talked about the bike.  They asked questions; I answered.  I asked him, "Would you like to sit on it?"

"Oh, could I?"

"You surely can."

His mother sat him on the saddle and we talked some more.  They stood on the sidewalk as I got ready to leave because he wanted to hear the bike.

It's nice to meet people who like the same bike I like.  It's especially nice when it involves little people.

When ever I see kids looking at my bikes, I offer to let them sit on it and get a photo.  I had one parent decline saying, "We're practicing social distancing."  I said good luck with that.

If kids' parents allowed,  you should have fired it up and let him rev the throttle some.  If you think he grinned just sitting on it,  blipping throttle would make him super duper happy.

Our bikes certainly can reel 'em in... A memorable one for me was on a solo ride through Colorado, at the top of Mt. Evans a group of, by their dress and mannerisms I assume ultra-orthodox religious adherents were congregating around my Valk as I came back from a walk around the top... Their English was halting, but enough got through, the females of the group wished to pose next to the bike, I offered to let them sit on it and they were elated (After the males signaled their approval of this adventure).

Obviously in the pre-social distancing days, they requested to don my helmet for the full effect...

On a trip to Watkins Glen, I stopped at Montour Falls to get some pics of the bike.  While there, a tour bus showed up with a bunch of foreigners, they all wanted to take pictures with my bike, so I let them sit on it and take pictures.  Just as they were about to leave, this young lady surprised me with a request to get a picture with me.  How could I possibly turn down a request from a youngster?

After the Spearfish Inzane, my wife and I extended our trip, and while sight seeing at Bryce Canyon, my wife struck up a conversation with a lady and here 80 year old mother.  The 80 year old said she had never been on a motorcycle, so I told her, if your daughter will hold your cane, and you can swing a leg over the saddle, I'll take you for a ride.  Her grandkids thought it was hilarious.

Well dang, here I was afraid to ask.   I heard a rumor that you didn't appreciate drooling all over it.

It's even worse when your bike/trike is Orange/Black or Black/Orange.   Don't ask me how I know.   2funny

It is fun watching the kids grin from ear to ear isn't it. Had a similar circumstance at Taos while on the square with the group ride. 2 brothers. Let each sit up by themselves, hitting the air horn, Dad taking pictures.
