Fork/axel bolt chrome cover lost
«
on:
October 02, 2021, 09:43:15 AM »
I just noticed the chrome cover on the left side fork axel bolt is missing.
Since I got the bike used, I have no idea if this is a stock item or aftermarket.
I checked some OEM sites but haven’t seen it listed on a fork diagram.
Anyone have other sources?

Ok thanks, that’s a start.
Any idea of who made them, Kuryakyn, Show Chrome?
Doing some searches I’ve come across some but not bike specific nor with the plug for the left side but I’ll keep looking around.

might have been show chrome. the cap has a set screw, plug just o-rings which I have had to replace. might have been one of the first things I bought in '00 when I bought my new '98 leftover.

Aftermarket. I doubt you find it new or in a kit, but if you do, let me know

I found these, not really my style.
I’m wondering if the seller makes them and could do a custom of just a nice cap or “lug nut” style.

I’ll think on this before contacting the seller.
