Another Nice Autumn Day in Massachusetts

What a great 10 ten stretch of warm/rain-free WX we've had! It looks like that's going to change on Sunday when we get back to seasonal October temperatures. We'll have to break out the chaps.  

Sherry's at a bridal shower today. So I did my thing and took a ride. Colors are starting to peak in central MA so I headed in that direction. The colors did look good but the wind today is taking down the leaves fast. Lots of pine needles along the sides and center yellow line in spots. They're slippery so adjusted my riding as appropriate. Also a few acorn strikes to the helmet and wind shield, which is not surprising on a windy fall day.

Did a stretch, hydration and bio-break stop at this location.

Yup, I get lunch there every one in a while.  Nice old style country store.  Kinda pricy.

I've been told it's pronounced "Petersam"  the "h" is silent.

As an alternative to the Country Store, we've had lunch at the Quabbin Woods Restaurant on 122/32 in Petersham. Good prices, rustic decor and good diner grub.  I had the Irish Benedict. Very good!
