It always hits me funny that guys are talking about putting their bike aw3ay soon. For me this is when I start to rack up the miles.

August is my least favorite month to ride in. Always hot and humid with a chance of a thunderstorm every day.

Yup, us "Southern" guys (Southern BC that is Wink ) are sure glad it's riding season. No thoughts of putting her away up here for a while yet!

Yes, the wife and I have been on the road all week (well last six days, headed home today).

Videos of what we see when riding posted here, just in case you wondered.

Houston area.    Perfect time of year for riding here.   Just did a Texas Hill Country tour.   Love to ride in the rolling hills of the Brenham Tx area on a cool morning.    Go eat breakfast 60 miles away at least once a week in Sealy Tx.     No doubt this is a great riding time in our area.   Problem is…..its also getting ready for hunting season, grandkids in sports games….(and they expect us to be there)…gardening time of year…car show time of year for our 68 Mustang…etc, etc.    Dont get to ride as much as I would like to.
Plus Im having some knee problems that hinders my riding.    There is always something getting in the way of riding.   Im sure a lot of you face the same problems….ha

Southern Ontario here.
It was 8*C/46*F yesterday at the warmest. Put on sweater and heavy leather coat, and just canvas pants.
Wanted to see if the '00 goldwing fairing would keep me warm. My fingers in heavy gloves were cooler than my unprotected ankles. That huge fairing is great.
Valkyrie is up on stand getting work done.
