I have several color charts for the valkyries but this one is not clear. How many 2002 black with Red stripes standards where made
I’m pretty sure it was a low production number but would like to know for sure   It’s not stoping me from buying her but I would like to know
Thanks Dennis

Back when I had my Black with Red Skunk stripe, the chart I saw said 200 were produced.   Sadly, that means there's only the potential for 199 left.

I've seen several of the various striped Valkyries that were in pristine condition.
I'm pretty sure all the striped ones have the clear-coated aluminum
wheels and final drives and stuff that stay shiny. Those are good
Valkyries.

I guess I'm not reading that chart correctly.   Doesn't really matter, my Black with Red skunk stripe fat lady is no longer...............    :'(

The stripe paint job was only on standards and only in '01, '02.

Interesting...
The Blue with White stripe is listed as a separate selection, while the Black/Silver and Black/Red seem to be lumped in with the standard design.

There were only 20 of the 99 Interstates in Red and Black produced in the Canadian model. My Red & Black IS is a Canadian model...rarer that I thought. Don't see many others up here in either US or CDN models in any colour regardless. I remember my first Inzane,  seeing Red and Black Interstates everywhere...first time I ever had to actually look for my bike in a group of bikes in a parking lot.
There were actually more Blue Runes produced in a Canadian model than my Red and Black Interstate...who would have guessed that? Not me.

20 years on, still little tidbits for me to learn about this grand old bike of mine Smiley
