I'm not normally the type to even contemplate stealing a street sign, but there's one near me that every time I ride by I have the thought, because there's a right way, a wrong way, and a...

(INB "A Pine St?". But seriously, posted in jest, no bad intent or anything just gave me a chuckle, figured I'd share.)

There is a WILLOW rd in my area I ride often.  I considered stealing it and presenting it to our mutual friend, but I figured he would not appreciate the gesture.

You can't be publicly posting such things. I mean publicly contemplating stealing public property?

You private message someone to steal it for you.

Willow Run, also known as Air Force Plant 31, was a manufacturing complex in Michigan, United States, located between Ypsilanti Township and Belleville, constructed by the Ford Motor Company for the mass production of aircraft, especially the B-24 Liberator heavy bomber.

My favorite street sign, I've imagined stealing, is way out in nowhere where I often ride is...... Bust Head Road.  (not a single picture)

Ypsilanti Township

Next time we meet, please advise me on how that township's name is pronounced.
I'm assuming the p is silent but honestly don't have a clue.

P not silent, Y silent.  Everyone I know pronounces it Ip-sa-lan-ti. (not Yipsalanti)  (Ipsi for short)

Established in 1825 under the name "Ypsilanti", after Demetrios Ypsilantis, a hero in the Greek War of Independence.

The Ypsilanti Water Tower (landmark), built in 1890 as a part of waterworks (and mighty phallic), with a bust of the Greek hero in front.

During college, the old traditional joke was that if a virgin ever graduated, the tower would fall over.  So far so good.   Grin
