My 97 tourer would not start the other day...lights came on, but no click sound....battery is fully charged.... I bought a new starter relay, hooked it up, and even the lights wouldn't turn on. Hooked up the old starter relay, and the lights came on, but nothing else... Hooked up the new starter relay again, and nothing, not even headlights. I called my Honda guy, and told him I could have a defective starter relay. He gave me a brand new one, I hooked it up, and nothing again. No headlights no nothing. And yes, the battery is fully charged. I'm not the most mechanical person, but I am definitely at a loss as to what's happening.. Any ideas?

Place a large towel under the handlebar to catch any dropped itty bitty parts.
