My Valkyrie and Galveston Texas Lone Star Rally

Got many compliments on my Valkyrie yesterday going into the strand in downtown Galveston you have to pay and the guy putting the sticker on my bike rode jade and black tourer we both said we would never sell our Valkyries,  another guy once I got parked came up and said is that a Boss Hog I had to laugh at that one. More people came by they loved the color yellow and cream standard the best color combo ever on the standard I think we can all agree.  And finally trying to exit the Strand a guy came up to me and begged for me to sell him my bike told him no twice he wouldnt give up so I just rode away.  Valkyries are still admired and respected to this day great times at the rally.

I live in the Houston area in Tomball.   I have been to the Lone Star Rally couple times way in the past.   Its a good rally.   However….I’ve never understood why they ALWAYS hold it on opening weekend of deer season.   I know a lot of motorcycle riders that hunt and we have to miss the rally do to opening weekend of deer season.   Soooo while we motorcyclist/ hunters are out trying to clear the hyways of forest rats to make the roads safer for all…..we have to sacrifice our need to go to the rally.   By the way… my 15 yr old gson got a nice 8 pt yesterday morning.    I love taking my 2 gsons hunting.
