"Winter" is on its way

"Winter"...at least our version of it here in SW BC, which most others in this country wouldn't classify as real Winter, is definitely on its way. After some nice warm weather to start November off followed by some heavy rains, the clearing skies revealed a rapidly descending snow line on old Mt Cheam...the ever-present focul point of our little town of Agassiz. With the Valk parked for a bit due to one of the old 440 shocks leaking out onto the garage floor after its last ride, it was time to slap the shield on the old Wing and connect the plug-in for my heated vest. A nice brisk late afternoon ride today...have to stop sending all that warm Chinook air across the Rockies to our friends in Alberta

We've had overnight frost in VA for a few days. It's early for that, but it happens.
Still beats the stuffins out of an island in Michigan (where I grew up).
I don't mind the temps, what I mind is the 12 million leaves in my yard.

Whatever it is, it's better in the wind.
On a road less traveled.

Here in southern OR, we have our first local snow last night. There is a 6500' hill behind our home (we are at 4500'). It has white stuff down to nearly the base of it. That is where it be longs. Suppose to stay rain a town level. Well a guy can hope.
