Heavy wind, hail, lightning for several hours and may have been a tornado out in suffolk county (Long Island)

Hope all the folks riding down south had better weather today    Undecided

Bummer for you there, but in response: your hope was fulfilled here. I went for a short (60 miles) ride here since it was 80°, clear skies, and calm winds here today. Thanks! cooldude

We did not ride here but the weather was almost perfect, just a little windy.  A very nice day.

Monday we are riding our bikes from Star to Lowman, Idaho City, down to Lucky Peak Reservoir, and back through Boise to Star, for what may be the last warm ride of the year. 63 forecast with a low of 42. Should see some snow on the north facing slopes. Nice for mid November in Idaho. Got to take it when you can get it.

I am putting a rake kit on my Valkyrie trike once the COLD weather get here. I had expected to have started this project by now. No hurry, cold will come soon enough.

yah get out while you can since old man winter will be here by tomorrow morning already.  We suppose to get our 1st measureable snowfall overnight about 1 inch but up north 100 miles or more 2-3 inches of the fluffy white stuff..... Angry

still hoping come Thanksgiving time we hit 50 degrees or so since climbing on my roof to get the leaves cleaned out of eastrophes is NO FUN in the upper 30's and windy out now let alone need to clean up the yard full of leaves still, etc. etc. etc.

Oss, sounds like you folks are getting some interesting weather.

I did get out on Friday to enjoy our brief warm weather.  Had to take off a layer to two during the ride.  Got in 120 or so.   Still nice today, but need to address an electrical problem with my Headlight mod.  causing some interesting problems with system.
