Well not intentionally. Haven't had time to ride either Valkyrie
for a while so being off today I went out to fire both up and take
them for a short ride. I keep Non Ethanol gas in them since work
gets in the way and they do sit a lot sometimes. While warming
the Black one up I started smelling Fried Stink Bug Surprise.
Figured I would never find it so I waited it out and when it got too
hot it hit the floor looking a little cooked. Didn't have that problem
with the Blue one. If there was one on it the one from the Black bike
must have put out a warning for it to get off the motorcycle it's fixing
to get hot.. Grin

I wish they would find another place to hide for the Winter.
They smell especially bad when cooking on my bike.
At least they have enough sense to abandon the bike when it
gets too hot.

After a winter of resting, I rolled the wife's Vtwin out and fired it up one Spring.  And the stink of cooked something was just overpowering.  The mouse in the air cleaner/intake must have felt safe in there and did not abandon ship when the bike got rolled out, and when I fired it up, he got sucked in and couldn't leave, and quick fried.  Peeyou; had to pull his crispy carcass out in pieces with needle-nose.

The wife comes out to check her bike out, and typically.... what the hell did you do to my bike????

If you'd ride it more (and feed the birds less), you wouldn't get homeless mice moving into it.

Also had to clean a winter's worth of sunflower seed hulls out of there.

They do make a mess. My neighbor has a few cats so I have never
seen one here. I wish the cats ate Stink Bugs too.. Smiley

Cats are fairly smart about what is supposed to be eaten AND what ISN'T. MIL has taken to feeding outdoors stray - more than once I have found fertilizer / cat litter in the feeding dish and the cat telling me about it !
