I just installed a YTX14-BS Chrome Pro Series High Performance iGel Powersport Battery in my 2003 valk. Its supposed to be a direct replacement for the stock battery except its some kind of super duper gel cell that's supposed to out perform the original battery.  The price was right, $48.50 plus tax with free shipping off of ebay.  It required to filling with acid and was fully charged when i received it and the valk started right up.  I don't know how its going to work in the long run, just thought I'd try it.  Anyone else have any experience with one of these? Probably should have stuck to the original replacement.  We'll see.

I Run the same battery. First one lasted 3 years. This one was installed a couple months ago.

Thanks, that makes me feel better.  I just didn't know about the Gel battery.  The little built-in meter on mine shows the voltage as 12.79 volts, but still shows 000 on the date and it has been installed 2 days now.  Did yours ever start counting the days?
