I have a set of Big BF's Quad hornes. I got them in a parts trade, and have never had them installed. Two of the horns were bad, so I replaced them, and am building a horn relay wiring harness for them. I plan to sell them, but would like to be able to supply any installation instructions Big BF had. I dont need instructions for the horn relay, Just for the mounting.
There is an X brace with the horns on it and a heavy arm with a bolt hole in it comming off the middle of the X brace. What do these bolt to under the bike? Are they compatable with a Rivco Center Stand?
TIA

Thanks. Pretty strait forward then. I Figured it couldn't betoo bad with just 1 bolt. It does help if you know which bolt!

I thought they mounted to the flat part of the swingarm. I can't post pictures here, but if you want to text me I can send some pics from under my bikes. My cell is 8zero6665nine144

If I remember correctly they bolt to the little cross frame, where the kickstand bolts to. They don’t work with the center stand. But, I’m sure you could split them in pairs and fit them down there.
Rob is correct, the kickstand cross member, if its a 1 bolt bracket, there is a clip with threads on the top and a single bolt from the bottom, this was Bills newer design. The older style bracket is a two piece with two bolts.

BigBF Quad Horns are four car horns on a easily made bracket. Here's a "sort of" picture of mine I took when I got done cleaning up the mess from when my slave cylinder went kablooie. I replaced my original quad horns with four new car horns from NAPA when I was refurbishing the clutch slave. Other people probably have pictures of their quad horn mounts. The mount is just a couple of little pieces of flat bar. Of course BigBF figured out the details of how to bend and cut each piece, you'd have to do that. -Mike I have a new dual horns for a Dodge Ram, same that is on my truck. What electric plug connector do you use with a car horn? The Ram duel horn setup has one plug and it doesn't match the Valk. I don't need quads, these duals are loud enough.

I don't know the answer to your question, but I don't think it matters. You wouldn't want to hook a bunch of car horns onto the wire that runs the OEM beep-beep horn. I use the OEM horn wire to trigger a relay for my horns. What electric plug connector do you use with a car horn? The Ram duel horn setup has one plug and it doesn't match the Valk. I just drew this horn relay schematic for the set of Big BF Horns I am selling. I made up the wiring harness with several options, but you can make yours for your specific application. If you have any questions feel free to ask. I might even be persuaded to build you a relay harness for a small fee. The idea is to utilize a relay to operate the horns, which will limit the current on the horn switch. Instead of having the current of multiple horns on the horn switch, we will only have the current to pick up a small relay. The relay contacts will use an alternate source of power to operate the horns, and can handle up to 30 Amps. The diode across the relay coil is a flyback diode to keep inductive kick from arching across your horn switch.

Of course more to that. Most (all?) of the more is that BigBF already figured out the dimensions of the little bracket and where/how to mount it. I'd had mine since the 2nd Johnson City InZane, and they were getting tired. I changed out the car horns with some from NAPA this summer. LOUD ... -Mike
