Due to an unscheduled dismount, I will be needing a new front fender(among a few other items).
This unscheduled dismount was just caused by pulling away from a stop, and encountering/misidentifying a longitudinal territorial mismatch in road level (re)construction surface. Really, just a fluke, "wrong place", "wrong stop", "inattentive restart", "basically, an (eenie meanie), that should have been a (miney moe)".

A brief review of the the front fender graphic shows the unit a two pieces. I didn't know that! And, the only two sites visited for this
graphic review(Partszilla and Honda), list the #3 fender item as black. Is the front fender not available in the blue body color? Or, will there be a repaint need in my future.

Thanks....

Check your model number on Partzilla. The black is a GL1800C2C. The '2' denotes black. There are several different flavors. Any painted parts should list the color.

I don't know why they list a color with those things but I
think they are rubber(?) pads inside the fenders.

Thanks Jack B, Baldo, and Hubcapsc....

Yes, I was aware of the appended model designation when shopping parts.
I guess I didn't research the Honda/Partzilla sites as careful as I thought. Because a second review(as noted below), shows
the fender in two different configurations. My model type is "GL1800C3AC"(Blue).

1. Honda shows the fender in two pieces(#3, #5). And the "C3AC" designation doesn't seem to change the color from black
to blue. This part, as listed, is $333.28.

2. Partzilla shows the fender in one piece(#5). And the "C3AC" designation DOES seem to specify the correct "BL" color. This
    part, as listed, is $332.03.

. I guess it works both ways:
. The Honda unit(half unit), will ship black, to be used as is, or colored as needed.
. The Partzilla unit(full unit), will ship blue, to be used as is, without further detail.

I can't recall ever seeing such a discrepancy in the same/similar part(Honda:61102-MCA-S40ZB ) vs. (Partzilla 61100-MJR-670ZB).
That's strange. But these plastic body parts are not painted, they are molded with the intended color. It would be very difficult for
someone like me to attempt a paint matching exercise. But, I guess the single piece fender is harder to install than is the two
piece unit.

Thanks again,

If I encounter subsequent importamt information, I'll update further.
