I think this is funnier now than in 1992.  And for the first minute or so, he acts an awful lot like JB.

Does anyone own a hat like Johnny is wearing, and do you actually wear it in public?    2funny

Been a long time Jess, but I do remember Floyd R. Turbo (not by name but by character).

Well that's not the same hat (just because it covers the ears).

Everyone has woolly pullovers.

But not in red plaid with floppy ears.

When I was in early elementary school, walking to school through fields in winter snow in Indiana (because I wasn't allowed to walk along the road), my mom made me try one these hats on at the store.  It was really warm.  But after my mom laughed so hard she almost cracked a rib looking at me wearing it, I told her I didn't like it and wouldn't wear it.

I have had one of those since I was in college - all black, vinyl (to help fend off rain), and WARM. And yes - I wear it in public when circumstances require.

I have a different version... in nylon and gortex, with fleece lining.

Like a thermal military balaclava with fold up ears and neck cover.

It's not as funny looking.

Johnny Carson had more talent, class, wit, comedic ability than this whole current crop of late night cockwombles do combined...
