Took advantage of temps mostly in the high 50s today and took what is probably the last ride of 2021. After Friday the WX turns more seasonable with a wintry mix forecast for my area on Saturday. The salt trucks will be out.

I left the house about 11:30 and headed to the Sunshine Cafe in Clinton, MA for a delicious Irish Benedict. After lunch I got on route 62 west till its end in Barre. From there, back roads to the Country Store in Petersham where I picked up a few stocking stuffers. Then 32 N to 2 E to 140 S to home. There's skiing at Wachusett Mountain with man-made snow. Hopefully they're going to get a little help from Mother Nature on Saturday.

Pulled into my driveway at 4:00 with 124 miles on the trip odometer. Felt great to be back on the bike after about a month of no riding.  cooldude

I took advantage of the 60+ temps in Motown today, it was very windy, but I had recently changed the oil, hydraulics, and rear brakes on my Goldwing, but did not have the weather to road test it.  I got that done today, all is well.

Yes , they are skiing at Wachusett mountain.  I built a rack to carry my snowboard on the Spyder and have 3 days on my new knee.  Finally able to snowboard without pain.

Thanks Gary. Had a nice ride through Sterling yesterday. In Petersham there was a guy and his wife on the same Indian that you and Deb had. Talked to him for a while. He had questions about the Wing. Had a nice chat.   Wink

Tom not surprised that you build a snowboard rack for your Spyder. You're very creative. Glad to know you're able to now snowboard without pain. Pretty cool for a guy in his seventies. cooldude

Tony, did I just hear you complaining about not being able to ride your bike for a month? Let me introduce you to Kathy.
Going to go look at a 2018 Road Glide this morning with my brother. If it is what I want, then the real discussion begins.
Keep posting your rides. I love vicariously through you.

How did it go looking at the Road Glide? I know you've been riding for a long time and that it's part of who you are. I hope Kathy comes around. I'd like to see you on two wheels and be able to ride with you again.  Cool

YB, TonyC, yes Kathy knew. She was not happy. But it was priced more for what it was. Now Kathy is happy again.

It's a tough market out there, rather cars, trucks, m/c, or houses...
At least you made Kathy happy Paul.....
