My Valkyrie has been in a coma for a number of years, but it’s not dead yet! I saw this resurrected Gold Wing on Facebook and thought how kool it would be to have a Valkyrie reborn in such a great fashion.

Wow, that is a great looking bike, kind of a around town short ride style bike.
Love that paint job.

Great looking bike, I'll bet that paint job cost more than the entire cost of my GL1200 build a few years back.  cooldude

That is an absolutely gorgeous old Wing. I've really enjoyed having my naked '78 these past couple of years, it's a nice changeup from the Valk for local rides. There's some amazing restorations both custom and more stock-ish of 1000, 1100, 1200 Wings on an Old Goldwings FB page I'm on. They really do lend themselves well to customizing, both moderately or more extreme.
I've been pondering another addition...thought about an F6B, or probably an Adventure Tour...this one looks kinda interesting Grin

I like everything, except the saddlebag. I wonder how many hours are used in that paint ?

You don’t like the saddle bag? I think it blends nice.

It is a great looking machine. Maybe a maroon or red bag with black straps could have been more inline with the paint scheme.

When you consider that area on any bike, and I think more so on a older wing, is a challenge for visual flow, the builder took a minus and made it a plus with the storage.

I agree it would maybe have been better with some matching colored leather.

I believe the front tree is a Cognito Moto

https://cognitomoto.com/

They make custom trees to fit about any set of forks, as well has front wheel hubs.

Good looking setup
